Where to start
Schedule a call with our Technology Innovation Evaluation (TIE) committee. The TIE committee provides an initial screening for intake (based on the online-application and/or full application package). The evaluation provided to entrepreneurs includes a confidential, independent review of technology, commercial feasibility of the technology and proposed follow-up actions for validation and commercialization.
The Technology Innovation Evaluation (TIE) program is a vetting process inventors and entrepreneurs may utilize to move their water, energy, or agriculture technologies from concept to commercialization. Through the evaluation of water, energy, and agriculture technologies, TIE committee members provide feedback, advice, and tactics intended to improve the probability of technical and commercial success. Our TIE committee includes professionals with technical and commercial expertise.
The TIE program is the client onboarding process for the BlueTechValley Innovation Cluster funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC). The TIE process can be initiated by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
