Access to capital sources is validation of our efforts and will serve as a catalyst within the BlueTechValley region. Investors serve as mentors and advisors that help accelerate the launch of many enterprises. Furthermore, securing early-stage funding from a credible investor helps positions entrepreneurs for future rounds of capital.
The Water, Energy & Technology (WET) Center has lined up investors interested in blue/green tech companies and innovations looking to launch and/or expand. With historically underdeveloped capital sources available in the San Joaquin Valley region, the identification of key investors supports the effort to establish the region as the BlueTechValley. The WET Center serves to screen, coach and connect entrepreneurs to investors.
The WET Center is accepting executive summaries from entrepreneurs in the areas of water technology, clean/renewable energy, or ag-tech ventures. The WET Center provides the channel and connection to motivated investors; however, it begins with a detailed executive summary. The process will be conducted as followed:
- Step 1: Submit a 1 to 3 page executive summary
- Step 2: Executive summaries are screened and reviewed by WET Center leadership
- Step 3: Presentation guidelines are provided to high-potential candidates
- Step 4: Presentation pitch is scheduled
Specific terms will be discussed on an individual basis. Non-disclosure agreements will not be signed prior to the submission of an executive summary. Submitted material will be held in the strictest of confidence.
